A healthy spa service balance should consist of no more than 30% foot massages overall. Being mindful of each therapist’s individual service distribution also helps prevent certain therapists from becoming disproportionately booked for foot massages and supports overall therapist satisfaction and retention.
- Managers should review the Service Report on a monthly basis and share their findings during the Monthly Recap section of the weekly meetings.
If any therapist is disproportionately performing too many foot massages, managers should communicate this with the front desk team so they can be mindful of scheduling and work to improve the balance moving into the new month.
